This Cookie Policy explains how Percy Real Estate Ltd, trading as The AI Observer ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on The AI Observer website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as local storage and session storage), which lets a website remember information in your browser. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this Policy.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we can use cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you ask for without your consent. Other cookies require your consent.
2. Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our fonts and images are served from our own site rather than third-party font services. Most of the cookies and storage below are needed to run memberships, payments and the features you choose to use.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow embedded media. Until you choose "Accept all", or press "Load content" on an individual video or player, we do not load players from YouTube, Spotify or similar services, so they cannot set cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Your Library and display preference are created only when you use those features and are never sent to us.
Third-party embedded content
Some pages include players from YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Apple Podcasts or SoundCloud. These players load only after you allow embedded media, either through our cookie banner or by pressing "Load content" on a player. Once a player loads, the provider may set its own cookies or similar technologies, for example to remember your preferences, count views, or for its own advertising. These are controlled by the provider, not by us, and are described in their own policies:
- YouTube (Google) cookie information
- Vimeo cookie policy
- Spotify cookie policy
- Apple privacy policy
- SoundCloud cookie policy
Analytics
We may use our publishing platform's built-in analytics to understand which content is popular. This does not set cookies on your device. We also measure newsletter delivery and engagement, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, including blocking all or some cookies and clearing local storage. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to sign in or pay for a membership. Clearing your site data will also remove your Library and display preference.
Guides for popular browsers:
To avoid cookies from embedded players, choose "Reject non-essential" in our cookie banner. You can reopen it at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
